Supported postures are held for several minutes and longer with rhythmic breathing and mindful awareness. This encourages the connective tissue (fascia) and muscles to lengthen. Joints become more mobile and ease of movement returns. The healing power of prana responds to this natural surrender of body. It is where asana and yoga nidra merge. Alpha brain waves and deeper meditate states are experience as awareness expands.

TriYoga Art & Science of Yogaflow®

The inspiration and guidance for TriYoga comes from Yogini Kaliji’s direct ongoing experience of kriyavati siddhi, kundalini energy manifesting as hatha yoga. The inherent characteristics of this expression, such as smooth rhythmical breath, spinal waves, relaxation-in-action, and economy of movement, result in a seamless flow ~ the unification of pranayama and mudra with dynamic and sustained asana to create greater flow of prana. TriYoga sequences have been systematized from Basics to Level 7 into a comprehensive method. Ultimately, TriYoga is merging with the inner flow, universal energy.

Prana Vidya

The knowledge of life-energy, TriYoga Prana Vidya includes the trinity of breathing sequences, concentration techniques and meditation. Presented systematically, these practices develop better health, mental clarity and inner peace.

Prāṇāyāma balances, strengthens, and increases life energy. The result is a peaceful mind, the foundation for expanded awareness.

Prana is a Sanskrit word derived from two roots; pra represents “continuous” and na means “movement.” Thus prana flows in continuous movement. Svara is the Sanskrit word for the flow of prana. Svara is defined by the qualities of the breath and the pranic flow.

Tri Yoga, the art and science of yogaflow®, is the dynamic, meditative trinity of asana, pranayama and mudra. Prana-inspired and systematically introduced, Tri Yoga unites breath and mudra with flowing and sustained postures. It has the inherent qualities of rhythmic pacing, relaxation-in-action, wavelike spinal movements and economy of motion. Students can remain with Basics (108 posture sequences) or continue to Level 1 and subsequent levels. Within each level, students develop precise natural alignment, strength, flexibility, endurance and a longer, more rhythmic breath. When the movement of body, breath and mudra harmonize, the inner flow of prana is experienced.

 Continued practice makes the body~mind a fit instrument for meditation and for life. Founded by internationally renowned yogini, Kaliji (Kali Ray). Taught in 40+ countries by over 1800 certified teachers with 66 Tri Yoga Centers and Communities.

Santoshi began TriYoga in 2001 on the east coast, and studying directly with Yogini Kaliji in 2003 after returning to California. She and her husband Rishi spent five years in intensive teacher training at the TriYoga Center in Santa Cruz, culminating with Level 3 certification and promotion to Senior Teacher Training staff.

Since 2008, “the D’s” (as Rishi and Santoshi are known) have been traveling full time, maintaining teacher training programs in China, Taiwan, Russia, Ukraine, Australia, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Israel. They are the Assistant Directors of TriYoga Teacher Training Programs in Asia, and manage the translations of TriYoga teaching manuals. Santoshi and Rishi currently serve on the Santa Cruz TriYoga Center Board of Directors.

Among the most experienced TriYoga teachers, they have taught over 5000 hours of teacher trainings and 1500 hours of workshops in more than 20 countries, and are honored to assist Kaliji on tour throughout the US and the world, and on-line.

Women of all ages and interests are encouraged to join Kim, Certified Yoga Therapist and Ayurvedic Practitioner for this one of a kind workshop. No experience in Yoga or Ayurveda is needed. This will be lecture style with open group discussions. *No yoga mat required…we’ll just be making a comfy seat in a circle setting. : )
